Successful Owner Representation requires clear communication of Owner’s expectations, and monitoring performance of the tactical plan to bring about those expectations. Management of any process requires identifying action items, assigning responsibility, and tracking efforts against the schedule. Good documentation is key for clear communication between all team members. CPS tracks and retains recorded documentation of progress, decisions, occurrences, changes, budget, schedule, quality, and resources. In addition, CPS keeps the owner and other project participants (lending agencies, sureties, contractors, design professionals, etc.) up to date on current status of the project. Larger complicated projects may require daily on-site observation and weekly meeting attendance while smaller, less complicated projects may only require weekly or monthly site observation.
